Still Need to Register? Contact registration@aals.org.

Registration for 2022

Although everyone will register through the same portal, fees will differ based on your law school. Like last year, AALS offered a school registration rate that allows all faculty and administrators from participating schools to attend meeting sessions. Check the list below to confirm whether your school is participating in the school rate. If so, your registration fee is already paid.

All attendees and speakers must register in advance to receive timely access to the meeting. Once you have registered, you will be able to build your personal schedule.

Continuing Education Credit

AALS is not certified as a CLE provider for the Clinical Conference. For in-person meetings, AALS can provide verification of attendance by attendees checking in at AALS Registration to pick up conference badges. Since the 2022 Clinical Conference will be held virtually, AALS is unable to provide verification of attendance.

More details about registration

What is the registration fee for the meeting?

If your school is participating in the school rate, you will see a fee of $0 when you register. If your school is not participating, you will see the individual registration rate.

If you are a faculty member or administrator at a school that opted not to accept the school registration rate, if you are with an international law school, or if you are not affiliated with any law school, you may register individually at a rate of $240.

How do I pay the registration fee?

Click on the “Register Now” button at the top of this page. You can login with your AALS email and password. If your school is participating in the school rate, you should see a fee of $0. If your school is not participating in the school rate, you will see the individual registration rate of $240. We have further information about the registration process on the OpenWater site.

What if the registration site does not have my email and password?

If your password is not recognized, click the “forgot your password” link to reset your password. If your email is not recognized, we may have a different email address listed that will give you access. If you believe your email is not in the database either because you changed schools, emails or are generally unsure of your login information then please contact dltsupport@aals.org.

Who is eligible to register under the law school registration rate?

The law school registration rate covers individuals whose primary affiliation is the law school. This includes most faculty and professional staff at the school.  It also includes adjuncts, externship faculty, fellows and new law faculty.

When does registration close?

Online Registration is now closed. If you need to register after the 3rd, you will need to wait until May 6th and contact registration@aals.org.

When is the cancellation deadline for those who pay the individual rate?

Cancellations must be emailed to registration@aals.org by May 2, 2022. A refund of the individual registration fee, minus a $50 processing fee, will be issued to individuals who paid for their own registration. No refund requests will be honored after this date. Registration substitutions are welcome and can be submitted up until May 2, 2022.

What if the registration portal shows me the wrong rate?

If you are a faculty member or administrator at a school that has opted to pay the school registration rate and you believe you are being charged an individual rate in error, please confirm that you are using your school email address to register. If you are still seeing the wrong rate, please contact registration@aals.org.

What platform partners are we using?
